Essex Middle River Veterinary Center’s Financial Policy
*Payment is due at the time of service. Acceptable forms of payment are American Express, Care Credit, Cash, Discover, Mastercard, and Visa. We do not accept checks. All forms of payment, other than cash, require a current driver’s license.
*We do not offer payment plans, although we will accept deposits towards future services.
*We require a 50% deposit of the high end of the estimate for all procedures. We also require a deposit of $150 at the time of scheduling your pets surgery. This will be applied to the final total with the balance being due at the time of discharge.
*If you need someone else to pick up your pet, we will be glad to take a payment over the phone. A copy of your driver’s license and credit card is required.
*If another person is paying the charges for you, a note authorizing usage along with a copy of their driver’s license and credit card is required.
*We do not accept any third party billing.
*Money Orders can be accepted for deposits.

Care Credit does offer interest free payments for 6 months on charges over $200 and one year interest free on charges over $1,000.
